Ingredients
Scale
For the Pasta
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
For the Shrimp and Steak
- 1/2 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 lb sirloin steak, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
For the Alfredo Sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
For Garnish
- Chopped parsley
Instructions
1. Cook the Fettuccine
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Add the fettuccine and cook according to the package instructions until al dente.
- Drain and set aside, reserving 1/4 cup of pasta water.
2. Prepare the Shrimp and Steak
- Season the shrimp and steak with Cajun seasoning, ensuring an even coat.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear the steak slices for 2–3 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining olive oil and cook the shrimp for 2–3 minutes until pink and cooked through. Set aside with the steak.
3. Make the Alfredo Sauce
- In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the minced garlic. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream, stirring constantly to combine.
- Gradually whisk in the Parmesan cheese, stirring until the sauce thickens. Add salt and pepper to taste.
4. Combine Everything
- Return the cooked fettuccine, steak, and shrimp to the skillet. Toss to coat evenly in the Alfredo sauce.
- If the sauce is too thick, add reserved pasta water, one tablespoon at a time, until it reaches your desired consistency.
5. Garnish and Serve
- Transfer the pasta to a serving dish. Garnish with chopped parsley for a fresh, vibrant finish.
- Serve warm and enjoy the rich, creamy, and spicy flavors
